I swear I say this every year, but seriously, how is it July 22? School starts for “A” on August 5th. For any of you that are around the same age as me (old, lol), that sounds super early. We didn’t start school until after Labor Day, well at least through grade school. This. is the first year her school is going to a four day week with Fridays off. I would have loved three day weekends every week during high school. The other school district in our town is also trying out a four day week with Mondays off. We will see how it goes in a couple weeks.
I’ve being seeing posts on social media of the Halloween stuff people are purchasing. Have I told you, I love Halloween? You’ll be hearing that a lot in the next couple of month, so be prepared.
I am still searching for a job. If anyone from Paris, Texas is reading this and has any suggestions, let me know.
I’ve been craving beef and noodles. It reminds me of home, of cooler weather, a cozy feeling. I’ll find the recipe and share it here soon. It’s still a little too hot in Texas for my northern, fall comfort foods.
