A clean home is a happy home! No one wants to spend their all of their free time scrubbing, dusting, washing windows…. These are some of my favorite cleaning products that take the work out of housework.

Hoover PowerScrub XL Pet Carpet Cleaner Machine, for Carpet and Upholstery

This Hoover carpet cleaner was a lifesaver when we had a leak at our business. All the carpets were soaked to the point water will squish out when you walked on them. I used this to get up all the water first, then went back and shampooed. This got up way more water than the wet/dry vacuum did.

Fresh Citrus Scent Garbage Disposal Cleaning Tablets

Nothing is worse than having a shiny clean kitchen and having a horrible smell coming from you sink because your garbage disposal stinks. These tablets have a clean orange-lemon scent.

I used deodorizer beads for years and they would make my drain smell better for a day, they wouldn’t remove any of the grime that contributed to the smell. These foaming tablets clean and deodorize.

You get 24 in the pack, enough to use twice a month to keep your drain smelling fresh. Ditch you old garbage disposal fresheners and grab some of these.

*larger sized disposals may need 2 tablets to clean and freshen. Follow the directions based on the size of your disposal.

Method All-Purpose Cleaner Spray, French Lavender

One of my favorite scents is Lavender. It smells fresh and clean and exactly the smell I want for my cleaners. Method products are plant based and cruelty free. Cleans most non-porous surfaces including counters, tile, stone, wood and glass.

Smells clean but the fragrance is not overpowering.

This link is for a 4-pack of bottles. You can keep a bottle in each bathroom, the laundry room, and the kitchen. I suggest purchasing the refills after you have enough spray bottles for the rooms you need them in.

I also use the Method Wood Cleaner and love it too.

O-Cedar Easy-Wring Microfiber Spin Mop

Yes, I bought a spin mop. I have mopped with a bucket and sponge mop, I have used an industrial type bucket and mop, and so many others. I like this spin mop over the others because it’s easy to use and my mop doesn’t go back into dirty water. The water reservoir fits right into my sink for easy filling and I just add the floor cleaner that’s appropriate for the room(s) I’m mopping. The bucket is not super bulky and heavy, so it’s easy to dump.

My only wish is that the mop head was a touch bigger, but the pros outweigh the cons on this one.
